I am the owner of TRANSFORM Physical Therapy & Yoga in Denver, CO. In 2002, I graduated with my Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin. In over two decades of practice, I have worked with clients of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in the sports, orthopedic, general practice and retirement settings.
 
Yoga and meditation have also been an important part of my life for over 20 years. In 2015, I completed a formal yoga teacher training at the Bhakti Movement Center in Portland, OR. I love teaching foundational yoga and movement classes to those new to yoga or returning to movement practice after an injury.

I founded TRANSFORM Physical Therapy & Yoga in 2019 because I believed a more holistic and integrative approach to healing was needed to truly support people out of chronic pain and stress. TRANSFORM blends the concepts of traditional physical therapy, yoga, nervous system regulation, current pain neuroscience and mindful movement to foster recovery. I am deeply passionate about empowering my clients to develop sustainable practices that create greater capacity to metabolize stress and navigate the challenges of modern life. This increased capacity enables them to incorporate meaningful activities into their life and tap into their vitality and purpose. 

I came to know the body-based practices of yoga, meditation and mindful movement, as well as nervous system regulation, through my own physical and mental health challenges. I battled burn out, anxiety and depression for the majority of my traditional physical therapy career and struggled with chronic gut issues for over a decade. A body-based approach to movement and stress management helped me to shift from a chronically-stressed body and mind into physical and mental wellness. Experiencing this shift in my health provided me with the energy and inspiration to start my own private practice where I support others to do the same.
