Many of our clients rave about the specialized instruction they have received by participating in private therapeutic yoga or movement sessions with the guidance of a physical therapist. They report feeling empowered, knowing how to best take care of their body and progress confidently towards the activities they love.

Private Therapeutic Yoga & Movement Sessions

This session is 60 minutes

  • We will assess your readiness to return to the activities you care about by assessing the fundamental skills needed to do those activities safely. 
  • Each individual session is unique and may include neuromuscular re-education, mindful movement, agility, balance, active mobility and stability work.
  • We will make adjustments throughout your sessions to ensure you are on target to accomplish your movement goals.

I started taking Jill's online class at the time Covid hit. My job had changed and it was the most stressed I've ever been. The TRANSFORM class style and Jill kept my sanity together at this pivotal time. She brought me back to my core, calmed my mind, and I had some intense spiritual moments that were priceless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jill for physical therapy, yoga, and mind/body connection. Her yoga classes are well designed with strength in mind over the "perfect pose." She's very attentive to individual needs and dysfunction (though she'll challenge you to get stronger). I'll continue to give her name out to anyone new to yoga, struggling with stress, working through injury, or anyone who wants to give their body a solid workout. In other words, everyone!

I took classes from Jill before the pandemic, but her classes were essential in getting me through 2020. Jill offers thoughtful meditation with a restorative physical practice. This practice of both mind and body offers growth, strengthening, and balance. Each class brings me back to my true self and I’m able to better tackle what life has in store for me off the mat.

I've taken many yoga classes but never with a teacher who knows her Physical Therapy and her Yoga. I've been with Jill twice a week for the last year on Zoom and Wow! My posture has changed, my shoulders are completely different and strong, and I feel like I understand my body better. I know how far I can go in class without hurting myself. Jill is pure love and I really look forward to her classes.

I’ve been looking for a yoga class that would help me recover from hip replacement surgery. Jill Getty’s classes are perfect because she’s both a qualified yoga instructor and a physical therapist! The small group setting equals constant personal attention, no intimidation, and quiet nurturing. Every class is different but there’s a natural progression.

Having Jill as my Yoga instructor has been the best of all worlds because of her extensive Yoga experience and her deep Physical Therapy knowledge and understanding about the body. Each time with Jill is different, depending upon the needs of my body at that particular time. She adjusts my sessions to specifically support and address body concerns or issues I’m experiencing.

I was shy and awkward to start a yoga practice, as I was not only a person who had never done yoga, but also I was a person who had not done any exercise more strenuous than walking. Jill expertly and gently helped me to come into my body, and strengthen my core. Having had four children, my body really needed the slow momentum that Jill set me up for, through our six private sessions.

Jill's yoga classes are exceptional - I love how she incorporates her physical therapy training to ensure that our form is correct and serving our bodies. And while it is a group class, Jill really cares about each person and where we are at in our yoga practice. I highly recommend Jill's classes for anyone!

Jill's expertise and experience with both yoga and physical therapy was just what I needed. She did a thorough assessment before we started the actual yoga class. For me this was super important as I have some fragile areas of my body. She created a program specific to me, and we expand it every week. I'm gaining strength and flexibility, loving yoga again.
